Qiscus is an AI-powered omnichannel customer engagement platform that enables businesses to meet the rising expectations for exceptional Customer Experiences (CX) by facilitating timely and intuitive conversations at scale. As the importance of real-time communication technology continually increases, dynamic server-side development is necessary. Our backend engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining the technology as well as working closely with a team of other engineers to ensure system consistency and improved customer experience (CX). Therefore, we are looking for an individual who possesses a high understanding of programming languages and is able to formulate more efficient processes. What You Will Do:

• Contribute to the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by a frontend engineer with server-side logic.
• Build reusable codes and libraries for future use, including documentation UML.
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection.
• Design and implement data storage solutions (ERD).

What You Will Bring to the Role:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Back End Engineer, Full Stack, or Web Developer.
• Experience using Git and Linux.
• Working knowledge of Python, Golang, Ruby, or PHP, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Experience with web applications, databases, and distributed systems (deployment).
• Create documentation for API and code.
• Experience creating RESTful and Mock APIs.
• Understanding of how to use Docker.
• Knowledge of data migration, transformation, deployment, and scripting/automation.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.
