About the job Indonesia Payroll Specialist

Job Scope:

  1. Handle various responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees within a company.
  2. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and employment laws, managing appropriate deductions for taxes and social security.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information necessary for processing payroll, such as personal details, salaries, exemptions, and benefits.
  4. Address and resolve any inquiries or discrepancies regarding payroll from employees or management.
  5. Operate and manage payroll software systems proficiently, ensuring that all payroll information is accurately recorded and securely stored.
  6. Participate in audits and ensure payroll processes meet internal policies and regulatory standards.
  7. Prepare and submit statutory reports, including social security contributions, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
  8. Stay updated on changes to Indonesia labor laws and regulations affecting payroll processing.
  9. Support ad hoc payroll projects and initiatives to improve processes and systems.

Skills requirements:

  1. Strong experience in Payroll Management.
  2. Ensure all queries are proactively responded to by the vendor or the employees/stakeholders.
  3. Assist in reconciling monthly payroll data and other related data against information provided by stakeholders.
  4. Specialize in cross-border payroll (SEA countries) is preferable.
  5. Nice to have overseas experience in SEA region.
  6. Bahasa speaker with Fluent English Communication.
  7. A strong grasp of Indonesia labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements is crucial for ensuring compliance and accuracy in payroll processing.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for resolving such issues efficiently.
  9. Effective communication skills are necessary for liaising with internal stakeholders, responding to employee inquiries, and collaborating with team members in the HR and finance department.
