(Jakarta - Indonesia) Associate Sales Director (water industry)

Summary of responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving sales targets
• Located in Jakarta - Indo with established business network
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English both spoken and written form of English
• At least 15 years experience in BD & Sales, with at least 10 years of experience in selling capital equipment
• Experienced in Senior BD & Sales role in large corporations. Must have experience of closing contracts valued at a minimum of five (05) million USD in water and/or infrastructure sector
• Technical knowledge on water and wastewater treatment equipment and/or technologies preferred but not mandatory
• Must possess a pleasant personality with solid background of relationship building and managing people
• Computer savvy and possess good knowledge about MS Office, familiar with CRM etc.
• Versatile personality that can adapt to working with both private companies and government authorities
• Bridge cultural gaps and direct company in right direction aligning with the long term vision of company
• Identify, develop, qualify early opportunities and leads in the country
• Identify suitable partners to increase geographical reach in the country
• Participating in tenders and putting bids together with selected partners
• Manage the required database and ensure sufficient insight to the organization
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to assume complete responsibility for Indonesia market
• Oversee coordination with regional HQ to meet the deliverables to clients and partners on a timely manner
• Possess excellent market intelligence and work constantly in positioning the right solution in the market, ahead of competition
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, business ethics, codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
